Value~What does it mean to you?
Value
Supermarkets have given value a bad name. Though it is true that you get a similar product for the cheapest price, that isn’t the real definition of value. Ultimately it is the cheapest product at the cheapest price. Value is really the best product at the best price. Overall, this is the best value.
Unfortunately, this supermarket value based understanding has made its way into the broker realm. Even though a broker will be burned time after time by the best price/worst service lender, they condinue to send deals to them, not realizing that the experience they have with their lender (good or bad) is a direct mirror to the experience the borrower has with them! The relationship with your lender is THE MOST CRITICAL relationship a broker has!
What is your customer’s experience with you? Did the loan take too long? Did you ask for too much stuff and then ask again two weeks later for more stuff? Was it a headache? Well ask yourself, what was the experience you had with the lender on that transaction? The same, right? If you have a good experience with your lender, all of a sudden, you are a super hero to your borrower! That is just the way it goes…
So what does value mean to you?
The cheapest rate and the worst service? Or the best priced loan with the best overall service that will make you look like the best broker in the world to your borrower.
The borrower is the most important person in the transaction. Take care of them by giving them the best experience they could have by using the best serviced lender in the nation. UWM!
